Daniel Umbert is associate-counsel with The Joseph Firm. Daniel graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2014, and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Nova Southeastern University in 2011.

Prior to joining The Joseph Firm, Daniel gained extensive experience handling complex family law matters. He served at the Florida Department of Revenue Child Support Program as an Assistant Attorney General in Broward County and as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County for several years, handling legal matters related to Child Support Enforcement.

Additionally, Daniel gained valuable experience while litigating on behalf of the Florida Department of Revenue, and spent a summer clerking for an Eleventh Circuit Court Judge.

Daniel currently devotes 100% of his practice to litigation, focusing his practice in the areas of marital and family law matters
